"A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words" Writing Contest:
Goal: Increase branding and client involvement with the product as well as gather stories for the website and print magazines. Secondary goal to drive people to the website.
Solution: To increase branding and involvement, I came up with a writing contest inviting participants to submit a story related to their job for a chance to win a digital camera. To promote it, I worked with the art department on the creation of a print ad and online banner ads. A micro-site was also created that not only promoted the contest, but started a teaser campaign for an upcoming 20th anniversary campaign.
